From the 1st of June we will be re-launching our CQC registered Respite service in Canterbury rated OUTSTANDING in December 2016!

 

Respite will be provided in a self-contained area and therefore people who need a break can come whenever they would like, subject to availability, without impacting on others and avoiding other people impacting on the respite user as well.

If the person benefits from social interaction there is a social opportunity right next door in our day service centre.

The person will have access to an en-suite bathroom, bedroom with relaxation area, kitchen facilities and a private court yard. Staff have a sleep in room in the same area and have extensive autism knowledge and training alongside training in epilepsy, medication, behavioural support, and communication and risk assessments.

Costs: The minimum costs include accommodation, 1-1 staff support (sleep-in costs if staying overnight), food and drink.

 

Transport and activity costs are agreed separately.

Process: Ring us and complete an application form. We will visit and assess and get back to you with staff ratio and any other requirements. Our aim is to ensure the person has a safe and enjoyable time at Canterbury Respite Centre.
