Membership of the Trust

Who is our Membership for?

Membership of the Trust is open to all people interested in the support of individuals on the autism spectrum and we encourage and welcome new members.

Types of Membership available:

These are the various levels of annual membership available as follows: 

 

• Individual Membership (one vote) - £15 

• Family Membership (two votes) - £25 

• Under 24 Membership - £8

• Corporate Membership (companies, education, support groups etc - one vote) - £50

 

Family membership is only available to families who live at the same address. 

Lifetime and Associate Membership is no longer open to new members - there is no change to existing Lifetime Members.

Membership Benefits

• Receive notice, attend and vote at all Annual General Meetings

• May stand for election to the Board or various subcommittees

• Receive newsletters and notification of any Special Meetings on particular subjects

• Have access to the Trust's library

• May request help from the Family Support Service

How do I become a member?

Please contact office@kentautistic.com or call 01634 405168 and speak to reception to request a membership application form.  The completed membership form needs to be returned to 14 High Street, Brompton, Gillingham, Kent, ME7 5AE or scanned and emailed to office@kentautistic.com

Article 4 of the Articles of Association gives the Board of Trustees the power to approve or reject any new application for membership.

​

Membership Renewal:

Annual membership runs from 1 April to 31 March.  Membership will automatically renew annually unless it is cancelled.
