Congratulations Amanda on 25 years with KAT....

On April 23rd, 2001, at just 23 years old, Amanda began her journey as a Team Leader at Beaver Lane. At the time, she had no idea this newly built home would become such a cornerstone of her life for a quarter of a century!

Amanda said ‘When you start a new job, you rarely consider how long you might stay, and I certainly never imagined I’d still be here 25 years later. I look back on my time with KAT that has spanned throughout all my major life milestones and a significant health challenge, I have watched this industry evolve alongside my peers in health and social care. This role has shaped the person I am today.

The work can be demanding, and some days are undeniably difficult, but it can be equally rewarding. It has given me some of my broadest smiles and some of my fondest memories. It has brought me lifelong friends and taught me the resilience to keep going, even on the hardest days. I feel incredibly privileged to support such an amazing unique group of individuals and to work with a dedicated team that consistently goes above and beyond.’
