Staff and the people we support at our Curlew Crescent residential home and Newton Close Day Centre, came together and have worked really hard to come up with some fun activity ideas.
During Covid, many restrictions have been in place, but they have all managed to do so much along the way, whilst keeping safe.
Many activities have included a farm visit, holding little baby chicks and petting the alpacas. A visit to Willows Bird Sanctuary, walks in sunflower fields, birthdays and requests for smartie cakes , Also with Halloween coming up, they have booked drive through cinemas, attended a theme park and are now orgainsing a Halloween party!!
Elisha Kemsley, Home Manager at Curlew said ‘I’m super proud of team Curlew and the fantastic support of Newton day service too, all working together as one team, it has been amazing and we have had so much fun. The best day for one of the people we support, was when he was swamped by swans!!’
