Huge achievement for Annie Bardo from our Head Office....

You may remember a while ago, Annie Bardo from our Head Office, who has since retired, was entered into a poetry competition and became a finalist for Poem’s in a Pandemic, as one of the top 10 poems for the category ‘Uplifting’.

This was a huge achievement and her poem ‘Our Caring Army’ is now featured in the published book!

The national poetry and art competition invited people to write and draw images to reflect their experiences during Covid into 10 different categories. They received over 300 entries across Britain.

All winning 100 poems have been published into a book, with profits going to supporting the mental health of care workers through art projects.

The hard backed, full colour book retails at £25 and is available to buy by contacting marie@acetraining.uk

Annie said ‘I have just received my poems in a pandemic book and wanted to say thank you so much for putting my poem forward, it's lovely to see my name in print, so thanks again’.

Well-deserved recognition Annie!!
