Interested in attending Information Sessions on Autism?



The Kent Autistic Trust are pleased to announce we are holding Information sessions on Autism and coping mechanisms for stress and anxiety.  The sessions are aimed at newly diagnosed adults or ASD adults and their support networks that would like more information .


The sessions will be held on Tuesday 24th March 2020 in Gillingham and Tuesday 7th July 2020 in Ashford from approx 10.30am - 4.00pm.


The sessions will provide information on the following areas:


  • Information on Autism

  • Areas of the formal assessment and further details of what was being looked at

  • Some misconceptions of autism

  • What autism means in the real world

  • Tips and ideas of coping strategies

  • Positive side to autism


The sessions will provide not only an opportunity for people to see what support is available in their local areas, but also the chance to ask our team questions - both our family support and the positive behavioural teams from Kent Autistic Trust.


These sessions will be free and available to people living in Kent and Medway, however non attendance without notice will mean we are unable to offer another session.
