Staff and the people we support at our Newton Close day service and Curlew Crescent residential home, recently stumbled upon a lovely little spot of happiness!! They came across a huge sunflower field!! Now they have found such an amazing place, they are taking regular walks there, to see all the beautiful flowers, when it’s not raining!!
They have also been busy taking many fun trips out and have so far visited Howletts Zoo, Wingham Wildlife Park and the Sea Life Centre, taken some walks along the beach and had a big BBQ together.
Elisha Kemsley, Home Manager said ’whilst we were in lockdown, we were keeping busy and planning all of the trips we couldn't go on, so being able to now do these things, has made a lot of people very happy!! We continue to be person centred and identify with each individual where the next adventure is going to be’.
