Updated: Oct 2, 2019

‘journey through time’ our annual art exhibition of The Kent Autistic Trust was officially opened on Friday 27th September, 2019 by a number of high profile officials supporting our artists at KAT, including The Deputy Mayor of Medway, Kelly Tolhurst MP, Deputy Lord Lieutenant of Kent and CEO of the historic Dockyard, Bill Ferris. It was a well attended, successful afternoon!!

All of the artwork is now on display until 10th October daily 10.00am to 4.30pm in the Namur Room by the cafe at Chatham Historic Dockyard, ME4 4TZ.

Christine Edwards-Daem CEO said 'The art was unique and of a high standard. It was great to see so many of the artists there as well. Autism has enabled rather than limited the people to produce wonderful, captivating art'.

MP Kelly Tolhurst said 'It was a privelage to be at the opening of The Kent Autistic Trust art exhibition. The art was of such high quality and it was great to see the art displayed in such a prominent place to raise awareness of autism and for the creators to see their work on display'.

Thanks to everyone for their support at the opening.
