Our PBS Team recently visited Haydock Racecourse for a conference with the Sundial Therapy Team.
Tamsin Gregory-Conquest; Head of Positive Behaviour Support said ‘The Sundial Team, led by Helen Driver are passionate about the therapy needs of the people they work with, and work as a multi-disciplinary team to provide therapies which address these needs; the conference covered topics like sensory integration, occupational therapy, specialist communication techniques, adapted Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and various animal therapies. All of these topics were discussed and provided practical guidance and gave people with lived experience the opportunity to share their stories. We definitely came back with plenty of ideas! we found the content absolutely inspiring!
