Staff at River Drive residential home in Strood, thought it would be nice for the people we support to watch the different phases that caterpillars go through to become butterflies. Nikki Boswell, Manager at River Drive said ‘we bought a butterfly farm, and some special caterpillars that grow inside the butterfly farm and watched them grow, become chrysalis’s and then emerge as butterflies. We learnt what food we had to feed them, and then we set them free’.
