Staff and residents at Newton Close Day Service in Chatham have been busy brightening up their garden these last few weeks.
Jess Lineham, Day Service Manager said ‘sadly the sun has abandoned us, however at Newton we are fortunate to have a lot of ‘green space’ and hopefully that sunshine will soon return!! The staff are continually working really hard to brighten up our gardens and fences and the people we support here at Newton and our residential individuals have been undertaking projects, painting gnomes, stones and plant pots etc in order to bring some life and colour back into our gardens.
I cannot wait for the end results and as always I applaud and appreciate the effort put in by my team, whether that be directly with the environment or with them supporting and encouraging our individuals to be part of these projects and bring their own unique likes and styles forward’.
