Charities from across the county were recognised on15th March, 2018 at the finals of the Kent Charity Awards.
The gala dinner and awards ceremony, was held Gillingham Football Club, Priestfield Stadium, the evening marked the fourth year for the awards.
The Kent Autistic Trust were one of three charities running for finalists of the Care Charity of the Year award 2018, alongside Ellenors and The Pilgrims Hospice. Ellenor's, which provides personalised care for all ages, was awarded the Care Charity of the Year 2018 title.

The awards evening was hosted by ITV Meridian’s presenter, Amanda Piper, and was made possible by its sponsors: Kreston Reeves, Furley Page, MidKent College, Southern Water, CAF Bank, Kent County Council, Medway Council, CC Works, Kent Community Foundation, Diggerland, Southeastern and The Kent Messenger Group. The awards evening was sponsored by Arriva.
The Kent Autistic Trust Family Support service were also awarded the Outstanding Family Support Award 2018 by the Autism Professional Awards last week and have been rated outstanding in 40% of their care services by CQC.
