We’re incredibly proud of Matthew, who has shown a real passion for learning new skills, growing his confidence, and embracing new opportunities through work experience at a local Costcutter.

Taking on tasks like re-stocking shelves, checking expiry dates and rotating stock, each session has helped Matthew build his confidence, focus, and boost his self-belief. He returns each time with a big smile and a strong sense of achievement, proudly saying how good it makes him feel.

Matthew, with support from staff, even picked out a black t-shirt for his uniform—something that holds deep meaning for him. To Matthew, it represents acceptance and inclusion, and he wears it with pride.
