Well done Annie Bardo, who's poem has been selected for the Poems in a Pandemic book!!

Massive congratulations to Annie Bardo from our Head Office, who’s poem has been selected by Poems in a Pandemic as one of the top 10 poems for the category ‘Uplifting’.

All winners and shortlisted poems were announced yesterday on National Poetry Day and how truly inspirational all the poets and artists were!! The judges faced a difficult task choosing the PIAP winners, as the calibre was just so high in all 10 categories.

Well done Annie, this is a huge achievement and your poem ‘Our Caring Army’ featured in the attached picture is brilliant and received well deserved recognition!!

Poems in a Pandemic would like to publish all of the selected 100 poems (10 from each category) and artwork into a book. This book will become a point in history, capturing the feelings and emotions of social care staff during this pandemic with all profits, going towards supporting mental health in social care settings.
