A fantastic example of our staff coming together to help those in our care, through these hard times. One of the people we support who attends our Lock Street Day Centre in Gillingham, absolutely loves shopping and is very much missing his trips to the shops. So……staff have created a shop at the day centre, with a real working till, which was organised by our fabulous new support worker Elaine Dunn, and kindly donated from a closing down pub! It’s been a very busy few weeks at our Lock Street Day Centre in Gillingham. Staff and residents created a marine theme and Autumn reality tree to put into words how they have all felt during this pandemic and lockdown. Staff at River Drive residential home in Strood, thought it would be nice for the people we support to watch the different phases that caterpillars go through to become butterflies.
